The new integrated brightness sensor automatically regulates the light intensity, allowing an optimum relationship between luminosity and burn time.

Technologies

Multiple Zone Illumination – Its homogenous lighting pattern allows the AURA 45 USB to provide optimum visibility in distance, side, core, and close-range zones without blinding other road users. It therefore ensures maximum safety in road traffic.
Anti-Glare Zone – Good illumination of the distance zone provides the necessary safety on fast routes.
Osram LED – The AURA 45 USB is equipped with an Osram LED. In combination with the high-performance optics, it distributes light very uniformly, ensuring ideal illumination across all light zones.
Auto Mode – In the Auto mode, an integrated brightness sensor automatically adjusts the light intensity to the ambient light within a range from 15 to 45 lux.
Rechargeable – The AURA 45 USB has an integrated battery, which is charged via the micro-USB socket (can be done on any PC). The supplied micro USB cable allows the front light to be fully recharged in a little over two hours.
The lithium-ion battery has deep discharge and overcharge protection. It also has no memory effect and can easily be fully charged again.
Battery/Charge Indicator – The operating button doubles as a charge indicator showing the battery status. If the charge is below 70 per cent, the LED in the button lights up green, and if the charge is below 30 per cent, it lights up red. The LED also provides information about the current battery status during the charging process. As soon as the battery is full, the green light lights up. You can also charge the AURA 45 USB during operation, too – for instance, you can use a power bank while you are on the road.
Weatherproof – The AURA 45 USB is protected against splash water according to the international IPX4 standard, making it suitable for inclement weather conditions.
Tool-Free Mounting – The practical silicon holder on the handlebars is permanently attached to the AURA 45 USB and enables speedy, precise attachment to any handlebars, allowing the front light to be mounted and removed without tools.
Switch-On Protection – The bike lights are switched on with a double-click and switched off with a long button press. This function prevents inadvertent switching on (inside a bag, for example).
Lateral Visibility – Broad lighting elements on both sides ensure improved bicycle light visibility in traffic.
